Ayden used to have to wait for me to run her bath when she wanted one, but those days are no more. As I witnessed the other day, Ayden is perfectly capable of turning on the faucet unassisted.
Considering that she is only 27 months old, that's a dangerous feat. I didn't think two year olds were suppose to be able to do such a thing. My six year old brother, M-zilla, still doesn't run his own bath water.
Needless to say, Ayden is precocious and much too smart for her own good. She turns both knobs full blast, plugs the tub, and gets in-- shirt on and Cheetos Puffs bag in tow. Spitfire that she is, though, she gets mad that her shirt gets wet and starts yelling at me to take it off, gets mad that she must release the Cheetos bag in the process, and yells some more. She is finally subdued by the return of her precious spicy puffs. Unfortunately, she gets water in the bag, gets out, and tosses the soggy puffs on my bedroom floor. So now there is a giant pink stain from the red dye on my carpet.
