We just got back from a short stay-cation over Memorial Day weekend. We took her to Galveston, so she can experience the ocean firsthand. She was very excited in the days leading up to the trip.
At first, she was scared of swimming in the ocean because she had overheard Papi say that there were sharks in the water. So, I had to reassure her that the sharks were on the other side of the rock piers. So, she slowly inched her way into the ocean. Eventually, she had "great fun" swaying with the waves.
She also had "great fun" playing putt-putt and swimming in the hotel pool. Family stay-cation: "great" success.
