What Lettter is This?

"Look Mommy, 'O'?" she says handing me an upside down  flashcard depicting the letter "U".

"No, mama, it's a 'U'," I correct her and flip the card right-side-up.

"It's me?" she asks looking at the card.

"No, a 'U'," I say.

"A me?" she asks again, this time pointing at herself.

"A 'uuuuu'," I say stretching out the word and tracing the letter with my finger.

"It's a 'you'," she says pointing at me. I can't help but smile.

"A 'U'," I tell her once more.

"It's yours? "she says nodding. "Here. Take it. It's a yours." She sets the card on my desk and returns to the other 25 cards sprawled out on the bed.
